My brother and I were supposed to be running errands but when we saw that the rarely open local antique store was open we just had to stop.
Having grown up with an appreciation for music and vinyl records, we both started digging through the hundreds of albums.
Once we got past all the Elvis and Johnny Cash we found loads that we loved. I found Alice Cooper ($7) for my brother and some Def Leppard ($4). I almost screamed when I found Fleetwood Mac Rumors ($8), which has been on my wishlist for ages. My brother and I both loved Michael Jackson’s Thriller ($20) and I grabbed it. I also got Kansas Leftoverture (free) even though it was pretty scratched up. It will look great on my record shelf (built by my brother.)
We spent, at least, an hour in the store and actually came back with my mother to show her the hanging lamp ($35) we thought she might like.
Overall, it was a good day.
